The Family Board initially decided to expand into processing and re-structure production assets in Australia and southern Africa. PINNACLE AGRIBUSINESS successfully managed divestment of one macadamia farm in southern Queensland, and completed negotiations resulting in an agreement to purchase the second largest Australian processor. The processor acquisition did not proceed, the family reverting to a focus on production only.
